Receiver/StockerAs a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You'll unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and make sure your area is prepped for daily success.This role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting practices and attention to detail. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, working mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight depending on store needs. And when a customer or teammate needs help, you'll be there with a friendly, professional attitude.You'll keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You may also assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts are physically active, and scheduling may include morning, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs.Key responsibilities include:Delivering smart customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projectsStocking merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up palletsSupporting store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forkliftsMaintaining a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeepingOperating store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as neededPitching in as a team player to complete other assigned tasksAdditional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include:Using the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery ordersLoading delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practicesRotating orders by delivery date and resolving customer order issuesProactively communicating with customers to ensure delivery satisfactionExecuting Delivery Readiness best practicesMinimum qualifications include:High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicablePreferred qualifications include:3 months experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment6 months experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stockingLowe's commitment to growth and teamwork extends to the community as well.
